Our Story

Loetscher Homestead

We are the Loetschers, a large family that found its roots in the Front Range area of Wyoming. Our family has operated a farm for over 100 years, and has a history of bringing delicious food to our (and our neighbor’s) table, with a special attention to meat products.

What started as a method to preserve meat in the early days of the family farm, turned into a multi-generation passion to develop and refine various ways to flavor and treat multiple meat products.

Our great-grandfather, Herman, was well-known for his smoked meats. He passed along a few secrets and his passion for smoking to his grandson, our father, Richard. He took it one step further, and developed the best recipe for summer sausage. That recipe is our flagship product.

Building on the foundation laid by our forefathers, we have been working to develop a complete line of products: summer sausage seasonings, brisket rubs, burger blends, rib marinades, and anything else our minds come up with.
